Valencia, june 2020. TEKIA in Joint Venture with Inserail and Airtren, have started the technical assistance for the supervision of the facilities projects and works in Xátiva-Valencia High Speed rail section Xátiva-Valencia in the Mediterranean Corridor.
The project is part of a link objective between the Madrid-Valencia high-speed line (L40, in service since December 2010) and the LAV Albacete-Alicante (L42, commissioned in June 2013) at the height of La Encina, so that this connection can end up giving continuity to the Mediterranean corridor. For the same purpose, the Valencia – Castellón (January 2018) and Antequera – Granada (June 2019) sections are already in service.
The installations object of the project refer to both Conventional and High Speed railways and include: interlocks, train protection systems, Centralized Traffic Control, auxiliary detection systems, power supply system, fixed telecommunications, mobile telecommunications, protection and security and affections.
The technical assistance services have a budget of more than three million euros, with an expected execution period of 40 months (until the end of 2023).
